Overview
This Is Black Diamond Doggystyle Sideways Frontwards is a copypasta and short TikTok video built around an amateur Steven Universe fan art drawing of the OC character Black Diamond, paired with a text-to-speech narrator listing sexual positions the character Pink Diamond supposedly prefers with her[1]. The full title, often shortened online, reads "This Is Black Diamond, continued She Is the Most Powerful Diamond and She's Also the One Pink Most Likes to F--k Doggystyle"[2].
The format is deliberately low-effort, a static OC illustration under a robotic voice reciting explicit lines, which is exactly what made it stick with TikTok viewers who found it equal parts funny and off-putting[2]. It became a shorthand joke about the stranger corners of the Steven Universe fandom and about the Portuguese-language FlopTok circle that first passed it around[1].
How It Spread
On August 11th, 2023, TikToker @1pinkdefender posted an English-translated version of the original video, which brought in about 232,900 plays and 34,400 likes over 19 days[2]. On August 30th, @1pinkdefender stripped the audio from the upload to stop other creators from grabbing the sound, effectively freezing that particular version[2]. The translation was the main bridge that moved the copypasta out of Portuguese FlopTok and into English Steven Universe circles.
The fan art image traveled on its own. TikToker @smoky_quartz35 posted a remix on August 7th, 2023, which reached around 7,500 plays, and on August 20th TikToker @horolover21 rebuilt the audio using Roblox characters for 12,200 plays[2]. On August 19th, X user @slayzillaa reposted the English clip and drew roughly 5,200 likes in 11 days[2]. On August 26th, a separate X post captioned the Black Diamond drawing with the sarcastic line "what a lovely steven universe oc I do wonder what their relationship to pink diamond is," which pulled about 35,200 likes in four days[2]. Two days earlier, Redditor Bombshellings archived the copypasta text on /r/copypasta, where it picked up a modest 14 upvotes[3].
How to Use
People typically reuse the meme by quoting fragments of the copypasta as an out-of-nowhere reply, or by remixing the TTS audio over unrelated character art in the same static-image-plus-voiceover format the original used[2]. It is often posted as a shock-reply inside Steven Universe or FlopTok threads rather than as a standalone joke.
