{"id":"the-last-supper-parodies","name":"The Last Supper Parodies","summary":"The Last Supper Parodies are photoshopped and staged recreations of Leonardo da Vinci's 1495 mural, defined by its iconic one-sided table composition, that became a viral meme when cataloged by fan communities in the late 2000s.","tags":[],"howToUse":["**Choose your cast.** Pick a group of characters, celebrities, or figures from a specific franchise, fandom, or cultural context. You need at least a central \"Jesus\" figure and ideally twelve others, though many parodies use fewer.","**Assign positions deliberately.** The center seat typically goes to the group's leader or most important figure. The \"Judas\" position (fourth from left, traditionally reaching across the table or leaning away) usually goes to a traitor, villain, or outsider. The \"St. John\" position (immediately to Jesus's right, often leaning or reclining) goes to a close companion or beloved figure.","**Match the composition.** All figures sit or stand on one side of a long table, facing the viewer. Three windows or arches in the background are common. Food and drink on the table can add thematic detail.","**Execute the parody.** Methods range from digital illustration and Photoshop composites to staged photography and even physical recreations with cosplay or action figures."],"imageCount":12,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-original.webp","caption":"Original da Vinci Last Supper template.","width":800,"height":450,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-looney-tunes.webp","caption":"Looney Tunes cartoon Last Supper parody.","width":548,"height":335,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-blue-circle.webp","caption":"Minimalist Last Supper with blue circle overlay.","width":200,"height":150,"nsfw":true},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-motorcycles.webp","caption":"Motorcycle and pop art Last Supper canvas.","width":680,"height":377,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-sopranos.webp","caption":"The Sopranos television Last Supper recreation.","width":680,"height":228,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-da-vinci.webp","caption":"Leonardo da Vinci's canonical Last Supper.","width":680,"height":375,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-playing-cards.webp","caption":"Playing card court Last Supper artwork.","width":680,"height":345,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-lego.webp","caption":"LEGO minifigure Last Supper recreation.","width":600,"height":259,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-warhol.webp","caption":"Warhol's silkscreen Last Supper reinterpretation.","width":200,"height":150,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-nightclub.webp","caption":"Nightclub rave version of Last Supper.","width":680,"height":366,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-dogs.webp","caption":"","width":null,"height":null,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/the-last-supper-parodies-my-little-pony.webp","caption":"","width":null,"height":null,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/the-last-supper-parodies/history.md","related":["classical-art-memes","the-creation-of-adam-parodies","angry-man-pointing-at-hand","the-golden-ratio","christianity","medieval-tapestry-edits","meme-paintings","samuel-johnson-reading","brother-may-i-have-some-oats","joseph-ducreux-archaic-rap","manchester-new-years-eve-photo"],"popularityRank":3288,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
