{"id":"snek","name":"Snek","summary":"Snek is a 2015 image-macro meme featuring snakes with cutesy, intentionally misspelled interior monologues in baby-talk grammar, rebranding the reptiles as adorable \"danger noodles.","tags":[],"howToUse":["**Find a snake photo.** The funnier the snake looks, the better. Hognose snakes, tiny snakes in hats, and snakes with \"angry\" expressions are popular choices.","**Write the snake's inner monologue.** Use snek dialect: swap \"snake\" for \"snek,\" drop prepositions, misspell deliberately. Replace swear words with \"heck\" or \"heckin.\"","**Scatter captions around the image** rather than using a single text block (closer to the Doge format than the LOLcat format).","**Give the snake a personality.** The classic snek tone is a tiny creature trying to sound intimidating. Phrases like \"am danger,\" \"heck off,\" \"doing a frighten,\" and \"no step on snek\" fit the format."],"imageCount":14,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-golden-template.webp","caption":"Golden snake template photograph.","width":590,"height":589,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-pls-no-boop.webp","caption":"Small reptile with casual snek captions.","width":1600,"height":1139,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-hay-aggressive-speech.webp","caption":"Defensive snake with confrontational meme.","width":200,"height":150,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-sweater-scary-cober.webp","caption":"Scary snek in sweater meme.","width":480,"height":643,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-golden-encouragement.webp","caption":"Golden snake with encouraging captions.","width":673,"height":817,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-straw-stealth-hide.webp","caption":"Stealth snake hiding in straw.","width":680,"height":486,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-ball-python-laptop.webp","caption":"Ball python on laptop keyboard meme.","width":1000,"height":1000,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-car-drive-fast.webp","caption":"Snakes doing a drive in car.","width":640,"height":402,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-booping-finger-parents.webp","caption":"Snake boop with parent comparison meme.","width":1440,"height":1440,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-protective-parent.webp","caption":"Protective parent snake meme.","width":680,"height":436,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-step-gun-political.webp","caption":"","width":null,"height":null,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-sandy-ground-photo.webp","caption":"","width":null,"height":null,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-dog-confrontation.webp","caption":"","width":null,"height":null,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/snek-bathroom-privacy.webp","caption":"","width":null,"height":null,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/snek/history.md","related":["capybara","unicorn","honey-badger","hippopotamus","boop","we-rate-dogs","alienposting-zeep-glorp","animals","elephants","fat-rat-stuck-in-manhole","foxes","freya-the-walrus"],"popularityRank":396,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
