{"id":"prank-calling","name":"Prank Calling","summary":"Prank Calling is a comedy tradition where a caller sets up a stranger, or plays along with an incoming call, to humiliate the target for laughs. The joke traced back to at least the late 1970s but hit the internet in 1995 through Michael Biggins' live-streamed calls on blackout.com[3]. YouTube compilations, radio scandals, and the SWATing offshoot later pulled the format into international headlines.","tags":["prank calling","crank call","blackout.com","michael biggins","prankcallradio","swatting","2day fm","jacintha saldanha","youtube pranks"],"howToUse":[],"imageCount":1,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/prank-calling/prank-calling-moe-szyslak-prank-call.webp","caption":"Moe Szyslak, the frequent victim of Bart Simpson's prank calls, reacts furiously to a caller on the phone.","width":550,"height":514,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/prank-calling/history.md","related":["john-cena","alt-f4","autonomous-sensory-meridian-response-asmr","2b2t","asmr","bait-and-switch-videos-pictures","english-or-spanish","caging","cheese-slap","dumb-starbucks","hollywood-sign-parodies","i-want-this-on-a-shirt-bot-bait"],"popularityRank":1562,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
