{"id":"myspace-angles","name":"MySpace Angles","summary":"MySpace Angles is the trick of shooting a self-portrait from an extreme high angle to shrink the body and hide facial flaws, a habit that got its name from the flood of arm's length profile pics on MySpace after the site's 2003 launch. The term hit wider use in February 2006 with the first Urban Dictionary entry and David Lehre's short film 'MySpace: The Movie,' and it went on to fuel a decade of dating-site warnings, academic papers, a Samsung ad campaign and a viral 2013 Korean YouTube demo.","tags":["myspace angles","myspace selfie","the angles","david lehre myspace movie","ulzzang angle","samsung own the angles","namsik importance of the angle","myspace photography"],"howToUse":[],"imageCount":4,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/myspace-angles/myspace-angles-pearchan-myspace-portrait.webp","caption":"A classic MySpace-angle portrait exaggerating the eyes and minimizing other features.","width":450,"height":600,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/myspace-angles/myspace-angles-pearchan-mirror-selfie.webp","caption":"A bathroom mirror selfie exemplifying the MySpace angle used to alter body proportions.","width":450,"height":600,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/myspace-angles/myspace-angles-teens-overhead-selfie.webp","caption":"Two girls demonstrating the MySpace angle with a modern smartphone selfie.","width":1800,"height":1469,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/myspace-angles/myspace-angles-hedgehog-mirror-selfie.webp","caption":"A humorous MySpace-style mirror selfie featuring a hedgehog.","width":500,"height":670,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/myspace-angles/history.md","related":["butt-selfie-belfie","selfie","photo-a-day","selfie-olympics","i-woke-up-like-this","auschwitz-selfie","duck-face","feeling-cute-might-delete-later","nelson-mandelas-death","u-sure-kid","mark-zuckerbergs-metaverse-avatar"],"popularityRank":2883,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
