{"id":"miles-morales-says-hey","name":"Miles Morales Says Hey","summary":"Miles Morales Says Hey refers to an awkward flirting scene from Sony's 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, where Miles places his hand on classmate Gwen Stacy's shoulder and greets her with a stiff 'Hey' before she walks off. Sony posted the clip on December 13, 2018, and within days it turned into one of the earliest breakout meme formats from the film, powering both multi-panel exploitable comics and video remixes.","tags":["miles morales says hey","miles morales flirting","spider-verse meme","spider-man meme","hey meme","gwen stacy meme","exploitable comic"],"howToUse":[],"imageCount":7,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/miles-morales-says-hey/miles-morales-says-hey-miles-morales-original-scene.webp","caption":"The original scene from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) in which Miles Morales awkwardly greets Gwen Stacy — the moment that launched the meme.","width":953,"height":535,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/miles-morales-says-hey/miles-morales-says-hey-ya-like-jazz-simpsons-mashup.webp","caption":"A mash-up meme replacing Miles' face with a yellow Simpsons-style character asking 'Ya like jazz?'","width":640,"height":825,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/miles-morales-says-hey/miles-morales-says-hey-hey-seen-text-message.webp","caption":"Meme depicting Miles' 'Hey' greeting as a text message that Gwen leaves on read — a relatable dating-app joke.","width":680,"height":560,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/miles-morales-says-hey/miles-morales-says-hey-havent-seen-movie-context.webp","caption":"A self-referential variant in which the poster admits they haven't seen Into the Spider-Verse yet, poking fun at the meme format itself.","width":680,"height":830,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/miles-morales-says-hey/miles-morales-says-hey-kylo-ren-force-crossover.webp","caption":"A Star Wars crossover variant swapping Miles' face for Kylo Ren and referencing the Force-bond scene from The Last Jedi.","width":680,"height":857,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/miles-morales-says-hey/miles-morales-says-hey-fbi-peni-parker-search.webp","caption":"A dark-humor variant referencing the FBI meme trope combined with a suspicious Google search for the character Peni Parker.","width":1200,"height":675,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/miles-morales-says-hey/miles-morales-says-hey-miles-morales-valentine-card.webp","caption":"A fan-made Valentine's Day card design featuring the Miles Morales 'hey' pose.","width":1200,"height":675,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/miles-morales-says-hey/history.md","related":["how-do-we-know-if-theyre-actually-dead-or-just-pretending","captain-america-civil-war-4-pane-captain-america-vs-iron-man","annoyed-bird","pointing-spiderman","anakin-padme-meme","that-one-friend","60s-spider-man","canon-events-spider-verse","peni-parker","peter-parker-is-spider-man-miles-morales-is-miles-morales","petra-parker","running-kingpin"],"popularityRank":1910,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
