{"id":"lagomorphshipping","name":"LagomorphShipping","summary":"LagomorphShipping is the fan-coined name for the romantic pairing of Pokémon characters Pikachu and Buneary, first used on Bulbagarden forums in November 2006. The term draws from Lagomorpha, the taxonomic order that groups rabbits, hares, and pikas together, tying the two species under one label. It grew into a long-running Pokémon fan pairing with a steady trickle of DeviantArt art, forum threads, and YouTube fan edits.","tags":["lagomorphshipping","pikachu buneary","pokemon shipping","pikachu x buneary","pokemon fandom","lagomorpha","pokemon diamond pearl"],"howToUse":[],"imageCount":6,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/lagomorphshipping/lagomorphshipping-pikachu-buneary-ship-art.webp","caption":"The iconic Pikachu x Buneary ship art that embodies the 'lagomorphshipping' pairing in the Pokemon fandom.","width":800,"height":450,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/lagomorphshipping/lagomorphshipping-lagomorphshipping-forum-origin.webp","caption":"The original November 2006 forum post where the term 'Lagomorphshipping' was coined by user Habunake.","width":680,"height":426,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/lagomorphshipping/lagomorphshipping-buneary-pikachu-paint-fanart.webp","caption":"An amateur fan drawing depicting the Lagomorphshipping pairing in a rough MS Paint style.","width":680,"height":440,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/lagomorphshipping/lagomorphshipping-buneary-pikachu-jealousy-comic.webp","caption":"A fan comic playing on the Lagomorphshipping trope, in which Buneary's affection for Pikachu leads to a jealous confrontation.","width":680,"height":1482,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/lagomorphshipping/lagomorphshipping-buneary-daydream-pikachu-chocolate.webp","caption":"Fan art of Buneary fantasizing about a romantic gift from Pikachu, a classic Lagomorphshipping scene.","width":645,"height":630,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/lagomorphshipping/lagomorphshipping-buneary-pikachu-hug-sketch.webp","caption":"A rough, expressive fan illustration celebrating the Lagomorphshipping pairing.","width":680,"height":429,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/lagomorphshipping/history.md","related":["angel-beats","fakemon","pikachu","my-little-pony-character-fandom","gorillaz-demon-days-cover-parodies","pyong","jonaerys","mordetwi","reylo","science-bros","toxic-yaoi-doomed-yaoi","voltron-legendary-defender"],"popularityRank":2600,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
