{"id":"harp-darp-herp-derp","name":"Harp Darp","summary":"Harp Darp, also known as Herp Derp, is a rage comic face that first appeared on Reddit's f7u12 subreddit in May 2010 as a self-deprecating joke about a poorly drawn character[2]. The blank-eyed, lolling-tongue expression became shorthand for stupidity across the rage comic scene and even inspired a browser extension that replaced YouTube comments with strings of \"herp derp\"[1].","tags":["harp darp","herp derp","rage comic","f7u12","reddit meme","derp face","reaction image"],"howToUse":[],"imageCount":7,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/harp-darp-herp-derp/harp-darp-herp-derp-herp-derp-original-face.webp","caption":"The original Herp Derp face — the crudely drawn rage comic character that inspired the 'harp darp herp derp' catchphrase.","width":651,"height":481,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/harp-darp-herp-derp/harp-darp-herp-derp-herp-derp-thumbnail.webp","caption":"A thumbnail-sized version of the Herp Derp rage comic face.","width":640,"height":480,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/harp-darp-herp-derp/harp-darp-herp-derp-derp-face-origin-comic.webp","caption":"A rage comic showing the meta origin of the Derp face — a character trying and failing to draw a proper rage comic face.","width":680,"height":850,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/harp-darp-herp-derp/harp-darp-herp-derp-melted-figure-derp-face.webp","caption":"A real-world melted object photoshopped with the Derp face — an example of the meme being applied to everyday objects.","width":651,"height":481,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/harp-darp-herp-derp/harp-darp-herp-derp-le-me-dumbass-face-comic.webp","caption":"A meta rage comic featuring the Derp 'dumbass face' as the punchline.","width":570,"height":427,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/harp-darp-herp-derp/harp-darp-herp-derp-herp-derp-youtube-extension.webp","caption":"The Herp Derp browser extension in action, replacing YouTube comments with 'herp derp' gibberish.","width":651,"height":481,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/harp-darp-herp-derp/harp-darp-herp-derp-derp-microwave-rage-comic.webp","caption":"A rage comic starring the Derp character doing something stupid — heating an empty microwave.","width":651,"height":721,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/harp-darp-herp-derp/history.md","related":["fap-guy","dude-come-on","trollface","forever-alone","close-enough","amazed-face","challenge-accepted","rage-guy","me-gusta","bitch-please","rage-comics","y-u-no"],"popularityRank":4412,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
