{"id":"epic-sax-guy","name":"Epic Sax Guy","summary":"Epic Sax Guy is the online nickname for Sergey Stepanov, saxophonist of Moldovan trio SunStroke Project, and the looping clip of his sax solo during Eurovision 2010. The break from \"Run Away\" got isolated, remixed, and turned into a bait-and-switch prank called sax-rolling in the style of Rickrolling. Stepanov's 2017 Eurovision return revived the meme and pushed the original video back through gaming compilations.","tags":["epic sax guy","sergey stepanov","sunstroke project","eurovision 2010","sax rolling","moldova","saxophone meme","run away song"],"howToUse":[],"imageCount":4,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/epic-sax-guy/epic-sax-guy-eurovision-2010-moldova-performance.webp","caption":"The original Eurovision 2010 performance by Moldovan band SunStroke Project featuring saxophonist Sergey Stepanov, whose looping riff became known as 'Epic Sax Guy'.","width":1280,"height":720,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/epic-sax-guy/epic-sax-guy-sax-and-the-city-parody-poster.webp","caption":"A fan-made 'Sax and the City' parody poster combining the Epic Sax Guy meme with the HBO franchise's promotional artwork.","width":486,"height":720,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/epic-sax-guy/epic-sax-guy-this-is-sax-parody-poster.webp","caption":"A fan-made 'This Is Sax' promotional parody riffing on Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' documentary and Epic Sax Guy's viral fame.","width":437,"height":600,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/epic-sax-guy/epic-sax-guy-epic-sax-neon-silhouette.webp","caption":"A minimalist neon-styled poster celebrating the Epic Sax Guy meme.","width":512,"height":512,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/epic-sax-guy/history.md","related":["trololo","chipi-chipi-chapa-chapa-dubidubidu","ppap","pen-pineapple-apple-pen","africa-by-toto","baby-its-cold-outside","crab-rave","nyanyanyanyanyanyanya","padoru","the-annoying-thing-crazy-frog","the-duck-song","who-let-the-dogs-out"],"popularityRank":1623,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
