The format got its start in 1990s American police cruisers and blew up online in the 2000s and early 2010s, thanks in large part to a wave of Russian dashcam uploads and the 2013 Chelyabinsk meteor footage[2][3].","tags":["dashcam videos","russian dashcam","dash cam meme","chelyabinsk meteor","nobody dashcam meme","police dashcam"],"howToUse":[],"imageCount":6,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/dashcam-videos/dashcam-videos-plane-split-dashcam-meme.webp","caption":"A meme playing on the extreme scenarios purportedly captured by Russian dashcams.","width":680,"height":675,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/dashcam-videos/dashcam-videos-harry-potter-car-dashcam-meme.webp","caption":"A Harry Potter flying-car scene repurposed as a joke about the outrageous footage Russian dashcams tend to capture.","width":680,"height":563,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/dashcam-videos/dashcam-videos-gta-whale-dashcam-meme.webp","caption":"A GTA V glitch featuring a whale on a car, used to poke fun at the absurdity of Russian dashcam footage.","width":624,"height":599,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/dashcam-videos/dashcam-videos-malaysian-dashcam-plane-meme.webp","caption":"A darker variant of the dashcam meme referencing the Malaysia Airlines disappearances by pairing it with an underwater plane wreck.","width":680,"height":558,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/dashcam-videos/dashcam-videos-australian-kangaroo-dashcam-meme.webp","caption":"An Australian variant of the dashcam meme, replacing Russia with a leaping kangaroo captured on a dashcam.","width":680,"height":680,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/dashcam-videos/dashcam-videos-flying-cow-dashcam-meme.webp","caption":"A flying cow captured on dashcam, used as another example of the absurd scenes the meme highlights.","width":680,"height":584,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/dashcam-videos/history.md","related":["bagel-boss","homeless-man-doing-kung-fu","airline-passenger-punching-reclined-seat","houston-road-rage-brawl","no-mcdonalds-for-your-baby-mamas-other-three-kids","chinese-frog-mascot","real-life-npc","dishub-officer-stuck-on-the-car-hood","giant-lizard-climbing-supermarket-shelves","chinese-just-turned-18-interview-girl","hawk-tuah-girl","middle-finger-duel"],"popularityRank":3377,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
