{"id":"awkward-introduction","name":"Awkward Introduction","summary":"The Awkward Introduction is a meme born from a November 2025 clip of the Filipino variety show *TiktoClock*, where hosts delivered a solemn message about co-host Kim Atienza's leave of absence following his daughter's death, then immediately pivoted to a high-energy introduction of replacement host Camille Prats with dancing and music[1]. The jarring tonal shift went viral on TikTok and spread to X (Twitter) and Facebook, where the format became a template for pairing tragic news with absurdly upbeat follow-ups[2].","tags":["awkward-introduction","Awkward Introduction meme"],"howToUse":["**State something sad, serious, or alarming.** This can be real news, a personal complaint, or a hypothetical scenario.","**Immediately follow with \"Mag-ingay para sa ating paboritong mars, Camille Prats!\"** or a variation like \"Please welcome Camille Prats!\" often paired with the screenshot of Prats emerging with dancers."],"imageCount":3,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/awkward-introduction/awkward-introduction-prince-dread.webp","caption":"Prince in orange outfit at awards show reacting to group introduction announcement","width":500,"height":851,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/awkward-introduction/awkward-introduction-lord-of-rings.webp","caption":"Awkward Introduction","width":971,"height":1117,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/awkward-introduction/awkward-introduction-oceans-eleven.webp","caption":"Awkward Introduction","width":700,"height":751,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/awkward-introduction/history.md","related":["ad-blocker-meme","american-football-joke","ai-slop","brain-rot-vocabulary","skibbidi-sigma","absurdist-humor","achievement-hunting","album-art-meme","bitches-love-my-mustache-this-time-im-really-gonna-do-it","enyas-only-time","meet-joe-black-opening-scene","oompa-loompas-celebrating"],"popularityRank":1633,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
