{"id":"akita-neru","name":"Akita Neru","summary":"Akita Neru is a fan-made Vocaloid character born from 2channel troll culture in late 2007, when users spamming 'I'm tired' (飽きた, akita) and 'going to sleep' (寝る, neru) on Hatsune Miku threads were turned into an anthropomorphized yellow-haired girl by illustrator Smith Hioka. Posted on November 1st, 2007, she went from a jab at suspected paid provocateurs to one of the first licensed fan-made Vocaloid derivatives, carving the official pathway every unofficial Vocaloid character followed afterward.","tags":["akita neru","vocaloid","hatsune miku","2channel","smith hioka","tsundere","fan character","gijinka","boukaloid"],"howToUse":[],"imageCount":4,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/akita-neru/akita-neru-chibi-neru-heart-ponytail.webp","caption":"A chibi fan illustration of Akita Neru with her signature ponytail forming a heart.","width":600,"height":450,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/akita-neru/akita-neru-akita-neru-character-profile.webp","caption":"An early character sheet introducing Akita Neru with her name '亜北ネル' and biographical stats.","width":680,"height":575,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/akita-neru/akita-neru-neru-megaphone-fanart.webp","caption":"A dynamic fan illustration showing Akita Neru with a megaphone, emphasizing her brash personality.","width":600,"height":502,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/akita-neru/akita-neru-akita-neru-speech-bubble.webp","caption":"English-language fan art of Akita Neru featuring her name in a speech bubble, popular on Western meme sites.","width":640,"height":480,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/akita-neru/history.md","related":["cardboard-box-gundam","natalia-poklonskaya","akira","black-hole-chan","code-geass","shaft-head-tilt","frenzoned","30-times-the-glass-was-not-strong-enough","aaron-rodgers-drawing","bimbofication","body-inflation","bowsette"],"popularityRank":1221,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
