{"id":"100-men-vs-gorilla","name":"100 Men vs 1 Gorilla","summary":"100 Men vs 1 Gorilla is a 2020 Reddit thought experiment turned viral debate asking who would win between one hundred unarmed men and a single silverback gorilla, dividing the internet into pro-gorilla and pro-human camps.","tags":["100 Men vs Gorilla","who would win","debate meme","2025 memes","TikTok meme","hypothetical debate","viral meme"],"howToUse":["**Hot take video**: Record yourself arguing for one side. The more passionate and confident, the better. Reference specific gorilla stats (bite force, arm strength) or human advantages (endurance, teamwork, \"David Goggins energy\").","**Reaction format**: Use clips of actors or celebrities looking shocked, then caption it with a scenario from the hypothetical fight (\"When the gorilla grabs two guys and throws them at the rest\").","**Simulation content**: Post or share CGI/game simulations of the fight. These tend to favor the gorilla dramatically, which fuels more debate.","**Meta-commentary**: Make fun of the discourse itself. Mock people who are too invested in either side, or joke about the absurdity of the question dominating the internet."],"imageCount":6,"nsfw":false,"images":[{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/100-men-vs-gorilla/100-men-vs-gorilla-formation-primary.webp","caption":"The iconic 100 Men vs 1 Gorilla meme comparison image.","width":1600,"height":899,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/100-men-vs-gorilla/100-men-vs-gorilla-mrbeast-volunteers.webp","caption":"MrBeast's viral tweet kickstarting the 100 Men vs 1 Gorilla debate.","width":600,"height":609,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/100-men-vs-gorilla/100-men-vs-gorilla-calm-aggressive.webp","caption":"Gorilla mood comparison in the viral debate scenario.","width":716,"height":756,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/100-men-vs-gorilla/100-men-vs-gorilla-thinking-couch.webp","caption":"The secret signs if 100 men defeated a gorilla.","width":732,"height":383,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/100-men-vs-gorilla/100-men-vs-gorilla-text-debate.webp","caption":"Pro-human argument in the 100 men vs gorilla debate.","width":716,"height":246,"nsfw":false},{"url":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/100-men-vs-gorilla/100-men-vs-gorilla-befriend-survivor.webp","caption":"Attempting friendship after the gorilla defeats your squad.","width":600,"height":600,"nsfw":false}],"historyUrl":"https://fcdtoybbbn2ccxbp.public.blob.vercel-storage.com/images/100-men-vs-gorilla/history.md","related":["literal-me","67-meme","its-so-over-were-so-back","skibbidi-sigma","gen-z-stare","tralalero-tralala","10-guy","tung-tung-tung-sahur","100-men-vs-1-gorilla","vikings","gatwick-drone","godzilla-vs-kong"],"popularityRank":212,"license":"Meme images and history: templates, screenshots, photos and fan edits, many of copyrighted material or real people.
